What's new

Left Seat keeps evolving throughout the beta: the client updates itself when it starts.

See what's in the works
  1. 2026.11.5

    Your copilot speaks up

    3 changes
    • The copilot makes its callouts in a natural voice, offline: Piper synthetic voices shipped with Left Seat, nothing to download.
    • Voices in French or English depending on the app's language, chosen in Settings › Copilot; Windows voices remain as a fallback.
    • Voice credits and licenses in Settings › About.
  2. 2026.11.3

    Designed for new players

    8 changes
    • Site: account creation, email confirmation, forgotten password, My account with your remaining trial time.
    • Airline creation: budget shown for each pilot level, ICAO code checked live (an available code is suggested), career track from the start.
    • Home: “First steps”, four steps that check themselves off.
    • Career in two tabs: My career (pilot, track, licenses) and My airline (level, points, skills recommended for your track).
    • License upgrades no longer cost a point: only hours, XP and training.
    • Jobs: offers you can fly listed first, padlock and reason in the list, estimated net gain, offers that can be combined flagged, at least 36 jobs per model in your fleet.
    • Ferry flights (airline skill): move a client's aircraft empty, on a model you're qualified to fly; the client pays for fuel and fees, then collects the aircraft on arrival.
    • Flight: “MSFS 2024 detected” indicator, SimBrief plan clearly optional. A “?” help button on every page.
  3. 2026.11.2

    License tree and career tracks

    4 changes
    • A single tree: licenses (single-engine, multi-engine, turboprop, business jet, airliner, heavy jet, helicopter) and skills.
    • Four tracks (Airline, Business, Helicopter, Aerial work): your track's licenses need half the hours and XP.
    • Each flight's XP follows its grade: the better you fly, the faster you progress.
    • First aircraft of your choice (Cessna 152, Cessna 172, Diamond DA40), with a budget based on your pilot level.
  4. 2026.11.1

Scheduled routes, relief crews and profitability

    4 changes
    • Radar: your flights in progress and other players' flights.
    • Scheduled routes: an aircraft and its crew at the same times on the days you choose, with an inaugural flight for you to fly.
    • In-flight crew relief, staff rest, in-flight training for your pilots.
    • Profitability per aircraft, route and rotation; a logbook for each aircraft; wrecks to restore.
  5. 2026.10.31

A persistent world and full crews

    4 changes
    • Persistent world: rival airlines and traffic all over the world.
    • Required crew (first officer, cabin crew) and better-filled jobs: belly cargo, grouped jobs, charters.
    • You can fly as first officer on one of your rotations.
    • More reliable flight resume, even in cruise.
  6. 2026.10.29

    Resuming an interrupted flight

    1 change
    • An interrupted flight (simulator closed, software crash) picks up where it left off, automatically or manually.
  7. 2026.10.25

    The game goes online

    3 changes
    • Player accounts: each player has their own airline on the shared server.
    • Real airline routes shared by all players (first come, first served), plus generated private jobs.
    • Several jobs on a single flight; the used market is refreshed around active players.
