What Left Seat does with your flights

It follows each of your flights in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and turns them into a career: from your first flight in a Cessna to your own airline.

Create your airline

A name, an ICAO code checked live, a base among tens of thousands of airports, and your pilot level: the more forgiving it is, the bigger your starting budget. You start out with a used single-engine aircraft and, if you like, your career track.

Jobs everywhere

Passengers, cargo, medical, business, airdrops, firefighting, aerial photography… The day's real airline flights are shared by all players; the other jobs are made for your fleet. Offers you can fly come first, with the estimated net gain, and several offers to the same destination can go on the same flight.

“Ferry flights” skill: you move a client's aircraft empty, and the client pays for fuel and fees.

Your flight, tracked live

Left Seat sets up the simulator (parking spot, callsign, time of day), then tracks your flight through SimConnect: phases, procedures, fuel, load, landing. The voice Copilot reminds you of each step, and an interrupted flight picks up where it left off.

A SimBrief flight plan is optional.

Tracks and licenses

You don't just unlock a license: your hours and XP earn you the right to take it, then you pass the checkride. Your chosen track halves what its licenses require, and the better you fly, the faster your XP grows.

A good pilot reaches the airliner after about 15 flight hours.

My career: the pilot, the career track and the license tree

Airline level and skills

Your flights and your crews' flights level up the airline. Each level gives you a point to spend on skills: special missions, better rates, cheaper maintenance, fuel… The ones that serve your track are flagged.

Fleet, market and maintenance

Buy new or used, rent by the hour or lease, configure the cabin. Every aircraft wears out: 100-hour inspection, annual inspection, parts, and possible failures on a tired aircraft.

And while you fly

Crews and rotations

Your pilots and cabin crew fly an aircraft for the airline while you fly elsewhere, with rest periods and relief crews.

Scheduled routes

A service on fixed days at a fixed time: at each departure, Left Seat creates the jobs and the aircraft's rotation.

Finances and a shared world

Cash, loans, profitability per aircraft and per route. Rival airlines, and other players' flights on the radar.
